Rotronics 3 stage Independent Charge System.

This unit are an excellent choice for the traveller on the move, with rapid recovery of the aux battery in your vehicle and the battery in your caravan or trailer. This unit will also give you the ability to charge up to 4 batteries with confidence, (1 start battery, 1 aux battery in your vehicle and up to 2 in parallel in your caravan or camper trailer). By automatically isolating the start battery and giving full alternator charge to the aux battery/ batteries you will get a full charge in half the time (approx 4hrs to recharge a 100Ahr Battery 95-99%). This unit is extremely smart and in the event of over discharge, open circuit or aux battery failure will favour the main/ start battery, making sure you will always have a start battery to get you home.

Unlike conventional parallel and independent system this unit has its own built in processor which monitors and charges which ever bank/ battery requires the charge, the system will always favour the start battery first followed by the caravan/ camper second(if connected) then the aux in the vehicle. On start up of vehicle, the unit will run a diagnostic check on start battery and charge it to a happy level before proceeding to charge the caravan/ camper and then back to the Aux in vehicle. Whilst charging and once all batteries are charged the unit will continue to monitor all the batteries and top up the charge where required.
